"With nearly two decades of experience in education, Nancy Soto has had the privilege of working in diverse roles, including elementary bilingual teacher, special education teacher, and currently, as a dyslexia teacher. Since earning her Master’s in Education, Teacher Leadership in 2010, she has gained professional growth in curriculum design, literacy, and educational leadership. As a dyslexia teacher, Nancy has a thorough understanding of the neurological basis of dyslexia and how it affects reading, writing, and spelling. Throughout her professional journey, she has been driven by a dedication to helping students reach their full potential, allowing her to create tailored instructional strategies, provide tools and technologies, develop critical literacy skills, and build confident readers, particularly those with specialized learning needs, that foster growth and achievement.
Outside of Nancy’s career, she cherishes spending quality time with family and embracing the outdoors. She is passionate about discovering new plant-based dishes. Staying active is also important to her, and enjoys working out as part of her commitment to a balanced and healthy lifestyle."
